About The Sodawas Family

The Sodawas family belongs to the historic Bhati Rajput lineage of Marwar, Rajasthan, with deep roots in the noble traditions of the former princely state of Jodhpur. The present head of the Sodawas estate is Thakur Shri Sunder Singh Ji, who has carried forward the family’s legacy of heritage, culture, and Rajput hospitality for decades. He is married to Thakurani Chanda Kanwar, and together the family continues to preserve the traditions of their ancestral thikana.
